This is a hidden gem; located outside IU, it gives you a comfortable atmosphere without the noise (and chaos) of students. Our bartender and owner are friendly, professional, and personable. I echo similar sentiments that you feel like a friend from the moment you walk in. It’s our new favorite bar in Bloomington, and with it being attached to the motel, I think we found our new staple plan for each visit.

Highly recommend. Cozy, friendly neighborhood bar. Owner and staff have always made us feel very welcome. I really love the chili. Burgers, nachos, and pizza also tasty. Clean and thoughtfully decorated. Very reasonable prices. You can't go wrong!

Prices are great, cocktails creations are good. You might wait a little for a drink but it's worth the wait. Lily was a great bartender, will be back for sure.

Love Sleepers Bar. The owner and bartender are very friendly and personable, they make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The drinks are spot on and the atmosphere is great. The omelette and bloody mary the next morning is the best ever. Left there meeting new friends. Will definitely return

Amazing new bar! Sleeper is absolutely great! Can make any drink and is an amazing host. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Close to downtown but without all the traffic and crazy noise. Worth a visit!! Definitely my new favorite spot in town.

At first glance, Sleeper's Bar doesn't look like much, but the inside is incredibly well decorated and renovated. The owner was very friendly and struck up great conversation with us. It's also located away from all of the craziness with Indiana University bars, putting it in an ideal spot. The drinks are also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping by this bar!

Great little bar. Selection of very well made cocktails. The chicken strips we had were good and the wings were excellent! Owner is friendly and personable, spent time chatting with us. Would come back in a heartbeat.

An absolute must if you’re around the area! The vibes, food, and aesthetics are phenomenal and the staff is even more amazing. My friends and I got a great variety of burgers, pizza, and drinks. The highlight of our evening was by far the staff themselves: Sleeper and his right-hand man. Aside from being kind, they shared exciting stories of the bar’s history and the famous people Sleeper has met. And the best part!? we captured an image to remember it all…
